Mauritius: Tourism linked to the practice of golf in full growth on the island

With greens nestled a few miles of luxury hotels and a few hundred meters of a turquoise blue reflections of the Indian Ocean, Mauritius destination attracts golfers from around the world - including a large majority of Europeans - and who landed in the number on the island.
Golf tourism drains in its wake about 10% hotel revenue, equivalent to approximately 2 billion rupees *.
This tourist clientele hosted in tagged with luxury hotels five-star and other institutions with a strong purchasing power and prestige committed on-site spending averaged higher of 20% to 25%, those of the single holidaymaker, or some 50,000 rupees per stay in Mauritius.
Whatever the season, the golf in Mauritius tourism increases annually by 3-4%, as reported by Business Magazine.
As a reminder, eight golf course of 18 holes and four other 9 holes today allow players to indulge their passion in a postcard setting in Mauritius.
These courses are located in the regions of Tamarin, Belle-Mare, Trou-d'Eau-Douce, Bel-Ombre and Le Morne.
