The Mauritian police have arrested yesterday morning, three foreign citizens arrived on May 11 and suspected of having established an extensive fraud in fake credit card on the island.

A British of 25 years old and two Romanians (31 years) have used many false bank cards in ATMs in the region of Grand Bay and Pereybere (North of Mauritius), for a total loss estimated at 800,000 rupees (20,512 euro).

The foreign citizens had established a well-oiled computer ploy, as explained lexpress.mu site.

They had "planted" the terminal software of ATMs and then transfer the secure data and PIN code clients on new credit cards freshly cloned.
