Mauritius: The village councils Moka and Flacq equip their numerous halls of Wifi access




The Council of village of Moka in the centre of Mauritius, and that of Flacq in East of the island, supported free access to the Wifi network in the halls of their localities.
 
The inhabitants of these villages as well will now be able to connect to the Internet into 21 halls in Flacq and 16 others located on the side of Moka.
 
The Wifi accessibility project in the heart of the party halls cost about 40,000 rupees * investment and village councils concerned must also pay a monthly bill of 1,300 rupees for each served, as reported by the newspaper Le Matinal.

"At the IT era, it was our duty to ensure that each hall has access to the Internet," said Ved Goolam, Chairman District of Moka.
