Mauritius: The unwary who brave the danger during a cyclone soon fined
While the cyclonic season is looming on the horizon, the Mauritian Government work on the possibility to punish by fines all those venturing outdoors, in class 4, when the cyclonic winds are higher than 120 km/h, the example of what is being done at Reunion on the red alert.

The unwary and onlookers who roam in cyclonic weather to attend the natural spectacle will be thus fined by the forces of order, to avoid endangering the lives of relief mobilized on the ground to respond to the emergency of the population.

The measure is thus expected to be initiated as from the next cyclonic season, with his presentation to Parliament at the end of next month for the resumption of Parliament, as stated in the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
