Mauritius: The two main indexes of stock market of Mauritius continue to rise
The stock market activities in Mauritius had again been marked by a rise in its two main indexes SEMDEX (1) and SEMTRI (2).
At the closure of the market on Friday August 1 2014, the index SEMDEX had reached in close session the 2097.86 points a rise of 7.04 points in one week.
On its side, the SEMTRI index has closed with 6787.12 points, also in upsurge of 22.77 points.
At the closure, the capitalisation stock market had been evaluated at 230.66 billion rupees (3).
Since the beginning of the year 2014, the amount of net foreign investment (purchases minus vends) had been amounted to 197.6 million rupees.
On 49 titles rated, 12 titles have increased during the past week, 28 other titles have maintained their position and 9 tracks have posted a decline, as reported by the Le Matinal newspaper.
As a reminder, the stock exchange of Mauritius, of which the SEMDEX index jumped to 21% in 2013, raised capitals for these past four years totaling more than 45 billion rupees and have served to develop the companies listed on the stock market.

(2) index SEMTRI (Stock Exchange of Mauritius Total Return Index), created in October 2002 incorporates the performance of the overall market with dividends and capital gains 
(3) one euro roughly equivalent to 41 rupees
