Mauritius: The trade balance reached 4.6 billion rupees of deficit

According to the latest official figures of the agency Statistics Mauritius, the Mauritian trade balance experienced a deficit of 4.6 billion rupees * in January against 5.1 billion rupees registered one year earlier.
For the first month of 2015imports have thus increased by 2.8% compared to January 2014. On the other hand, exports registered growth of 12.3% in comparison with the figures for January of the last year.
* One euro roughly equivalent to 39 rupees
