Mauritius: The strike of the planters on the island postponed of one week

Employees of the sugar industry in Mauritius who have been demanding for weeks a significant increase from 38% to 40% of their basic wage have decided to delay their movement of indefinite strike to leave the place for final negotiations.
Factory owners grouped within the Mauritius Sugar Producers Association have proposed for an 11% increase in wages and of the planters who was rejected by the latter.
Planters have announced their intention to go on strike from Wednesday, November 19, 2014 if no permanent solution is found to conflict with the factory owners, as indicated by the newspaper Le Matinal.
