Mauritius: The rupee depreciates against foreign currencies on the interbank market

The Mauritian rupee has lost 9.3% of its value between January and April 2015 against the main foreign currencies on the interbank market, as indicated by the Central Bank of Mauritius. A depreciation which has continued this month.
The American dollar was exchanged yesterday thus Thursday around 36 rupees while the euro was worth a little over 39 rupees. For its part, the British pound was approximately 55 rupees.
