Mauritius: The return to normal of interest rates before the current economic crisis evoked for the beginning of 2015

The return to normal of interest rates inter alia on the remunerated accounts at comparable levels to those current before the economic crisis, was recently referred by the Central Bank of Mauritius.
Thus, this process of return to interest rates before the crisis should be engaged on the island at the beginning of the year 2015, as indicated in by the Business Magazine.
"It is true that inflation is our main concern, but we must also see what is happening within banks and finances as well as control certain vulnerabilities. To do this, the main tool has always been the interest rate "says Rundheersing Bheenick, Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritius.
As a reminder, the interest rates recorded before the crisis of 2007 reached 9.25% before declining over the years to 4.65% nowadays.
