Mauritius: The planters Fatak, at the base of a revolutionary biodiesel join forces in cooperative

Fatak planters have recently decided to join forces in cooperatives.

La Provence cane, may notably produce biomass and be used especially following a natural decomposition in terms of biodiesel. Its scientific name Arundo donax, the fatak is at the root of a revolutionary biodiesel which could be used to make cars and other bikes circulate in Mauritius.

The herb Fatak, high energy content enters into the composition of this new biofuel. The biodiesel result obtained could then propose an environmentally friendly alternative for consumers with raw vegetable oil and a combustion which does not increase CO2 levels in the air.
The price at the pump in the future sales points on the island would be the same as regular diesel.
