Mauritius The opposition criticized the MMM-MSM Government of Navin Ramgoolam and demands the heads after the deadly floods
The opposition parties MMM (Mauritian Militant Movement) and MSM (Mauritian Socialist Movement) have criticized the Government of Navin Ramgoolamfollowing the deadly floods (11 victims), caused by torrential rains last Saturday.
 
The PTr (Labour Party) and PMSD (Mauritian Social Democratic Party) government have been under fire from critics of the two opposition leaders.
 
Alan Ganoo MMM, who temporarily replaced Paul Bérenger (absent from the political scene to treat cancer) as leader of the opposition in the assemblythe Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolamn must imperatively "determine responsibility and heads must fall".

Alan Ganoo and demand the resignation of the Minister of Public Infrastructure Anil Bachoo, and the director of the meteorological station of Vacoas, Balraj Dunputh after the deadly floods.
 
The opposition leader also deplores the excessive politicization of this tragedy from the Government of Navin Ramgoolam, with "an outpouring of ministers and MPs Canal Dayot".
 
Same line of attack for Sir Anerood Jugnauth, leader of the MSM, who explains that "the incident could have been avoided if the government had been providing."
 
"The heavy rains, there was in the capital, but this is the first time we saw such a disaster. Too easy to attribute this to climate change", said Sir Anerood Jugnauth.
