Mauritius: The novel "Paul et Virginie" in comic book

The famous novel of impossible love, Paul et Virginie, written in 1787 and which the story takes place in Mauritius, is experiencing a second literary life with the transcript of this work of art in comic books.
52 boards available in French and Creole under the pen of Shenaz Patel and the blow of pencil of Laval Ng thus make you plunge body and soul into the story of the two lovers with a tragic destiny.

When one of the Aunt of Virginie, financially stable, sent her to France so that she can have an education worthy of her rank, her love with Paul is suddenly broken. But during the journey back to loved one, the ship Le Saint Geran which brings her to the island, shipwrecked off the coast.
Paul on the shore, while the ship is sinking, flows into the raging waves trying vainly to rescue his beloved who is drowning before his eyes. Paul goes out shortly after fatally struck by an inconsolable grief.
