The managers of the service stations of the Petrol Retailers Association again threaten to strike on the island.

The latters are demanding an increase of 6% of their profit margin while their costs continue to climb with each increase of fuel.

Tired to wait for concrete results following the numerous working sessions held between officials of the Petrol Retailers Association and the competent authorities, the fuel retailers association decided to go on the offensive and do not serve fuel pumps of their petrol stations next Tuesday.

As a reminder, March 24 a large-scale strike had already touched almost all of 140 service stations of Mauritius for the same claims of "low margin of profit", as indicated by lexpress.mu site.
