Mauritius: The hill reservoirs filled after the heavy rains at the beginning of the year

The latest episodes of heavy rain throughout Mauritius since the beginning of the year have largely fed the hill reservoirs of the island. They are thus filled above 90% of their storage capacity for five of them.
The largest reservoir of the country Mare aux Vacoas, reached 99% of its filling rate while La Nicolière is filled to 91.8%. For their part, the reservoirs of Piton du Milieu (99.3%), La Ferme (88.9%), Mare Longue (95.2%) and also Midlands Dam (99.4%) have also made its full of rainwater.
