Mauritius: The future fisheries agreement between Russia and the Mauritian authorities could be fruitful for the latter

The Mauritian authorities should in the near future sign a protocol of agreement with Russia to promote cooperation between the two countries in the fisheries sector.
This Russian-Mauritian cooperation will allow fishing vessels flying the Russian flag to operate in port infrastructure of the Mauritian capital and unload their catch before dispatched to world markets.
The minister of fisheries of Mauritius, Nicolas Von Mally, recently highlighted the benefits to Mauritius could run into billions of rupees, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
