Mauritius: The five-year old died from her wounds

A five-year old died from her wounds yesterday. The latter admitted to the intensive care in a hospital, following the collapse of a wall which costs the life of her mother on Friday 3 January. She suffered from severe head injuries. Her mother of 23 years was 9 months pregnant, died instantly.
 
The tragedy took place when a section of concrete wall of first floor collapsed on her. Her younger sister of one year, was equally injured during this tragic incident. The latter was discharged from hospital four days ago. Her mother who lived separately with her father, stayed with her two daughters at her parents’ place at St-Hilaire, Cent-Gaulettes, in the south of the island.
 
The little girl had been unconscious since the tragedy. The latter was to start her first year of schooling. She turned five on December 30. Her funeral is arranged for today as indicated by the newspaper Le Défi Quotidien.  The police investigation is still ongoing.
