Mauritius: The authorities want to tackle the pharmacists market with a saturated supply in some regions

The Mauritian authorities are preparing to soon review the permit allocation modalities that allow pharmacies to operate all over the island.
The increasing number of pharmacies in several regions with a saturated offer in some places would be the main reason.
And with a competitive market, some unscrupulous pharmacists and troubled start to resell under the mantle psychoactive and cough syrups which outside the normal requirement may be siphoned for other purposes...
