Mauritius: The authorities want to get rid of a Liberian ship, considered potentially dangerous, before the beginning of the cyclonic season
The Mauritian government is working to ensure that the container ship Hansa Brandenburg waving Liberian flag currently in the harbor of Port Louis since mid-July, after experiencing a violent fire 450 miles off of Mauritius, can sail before 15 October and the beginning of the cyclonic season.

The holds of the container vessel Hansa Brandenburg indeed contain unstable and polluting chemicals.

Because at the time of the disaster at sea, 11 containers of calcium hypochlorite, used to disinfect swimming pools and pesticides to plants were drained by tons of water by a tug to control the fire, as indicated the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
