Mauritius: The SEMTRI index has exceeded the symbolic threshold of 7,000 points on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius

At the closure of the market Friday, October 10, 2014, the SEMDEX Index (1) had 2156.31 points.
On its side, the SEMTRI index (2) rose to 7,000.72 points and recorded its highest stock.
The market capitalization of the official market was assessed at the end of the session 237.10 billion rupees (3).
And more than 42 million shares were traded in a week for a total of around 404.7 million rupees.
Of the 50 stocks traded now, 13 titles were up in a week, 21 other titles have maintained their position and 16 shares were down, as reported by the Le Matinal newspaper.
As a reminder, SEMDEX Stock Exchange index of Mauritius has jumped 21% in 2013.
