Mauritius: The PTr - MMM alliance announces the creation of 60,000 to 75,000 jobs for the next parliamentary term

The Labour Party and its new partner the MMM (Mauricien Militant Mauricien) have recently made a promise to the voting public of creating 60,000 to 75,000 jobs in Mauritius during the next five years, as reported by the Le Matinal newspaper.
"Within the Alliance PTr - MMM, we have a program, a vision and competent persons. We will address economic and social challenges. The current Government has made much progress since 2005. The priority of this alliance, is work. If you have a job, then you have dignity. Currently, the rate of unemployment among young people and women is highest. New jobs will be created in new areas... A program will be established to eradicate poverty", said the candidate Rama Sithanen of the Labour party.
As a reminder, the latter should be appointed as Minister of Finance and Economic Development in case of victory of the PTr-MMM alliance in the upcoming legislative elections expected to take place in the December.
