Mauritius: The Minister of Justice, Yatin Varma, more and more lonesome in the alleged assault case against a young driver with the accumulation of new witnesses
Several new witnesses came to testify their version of events on Saturday May 4, when the Minister of Justice, Yatin Varma, is accused by a young 19 year old driver of hitting him violently, after a traffic accident in Quatre Bornes, in the center of Mauritius.
 
An influx of statements that follows the insurance formulated last week by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, to possible witnesses to come freely to the police without fear of any reprisals, to tell the scenario of after accident.
 
To recap, the young driver who lodged a complaint for violence against the Minister of Justice struck the left side of the BMW of Yatin Varma and which is accompanied by his father and his two children.
Yatin Varma would then hit him several punches and slaps, after having dragged the latter from his vehicle.
 
For his part, the Minister of Justice, Yatin Varma, who broke his right arm in the collision, refutes the charges against him and refers to "a rise story from scratch", for the sole purpose of harming him politically.

"Why are not we talking about the dangerous driving of the young man? He endangered the lives of four people ... I'm not aware of evidence in this case. I do not read the press and police have not yet informed me of these allegations against me ... Some want my skin because of my position as minister, "says Varma Yartin the newspaper Défi Quotidien.
