The financial magazine The International Banker has recently elected as best bank of Mauritius for 2015 the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB). The Mauritian bank has also been acclaimed in the African continent for the services made for its customers (individuals and businesses).
For the period covering nine months of exercise July 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015, the Mauritius Commercial Bank Group generated profits of 4.3 billion rupees *, an increase over 35% of its profits compared to the same calendar period of the previous year.
More than half of those profits have been accumulated at the international and have been supplied by non-banking operations of the group.
