Mauritius: The Mauritian rupee is gaining ground against the euro and yen

As indicates the Central Bank of Mauritius, the Mauritian rupees has gained ground at the end of September 2014 compared to its evolution on the interbank of foreign currencies market registered one month earlier.*
 The Mauritian rupees has thus been appreciated against the euro (from 41.05 to 40.31 rupees), the Japanese yen (from 30.22 to 29.24 rupees) and South-African rand (from 2.95 to 2.85 rupees)
The Mauritian rupees has equally maintained its position against the pound sterling which was worth around 51.63 rupees at the end of last month, as reported by the Le Mauricien newspaper.
