Mauritius: The Mauritian football championship turns into professional, now placed at the Barclays Professional Football League

The football championship in Mauritius, from now on professional with a granted budged of 50 million rupees*, will start on Wednesday 29 October with the participation of 10 clubs.
For the 2014-2015 season, the calendar will thus consist of 38 days which will be played in five stadium of the island (George V, Auguste Volaire, Anjalay, Saint-François Xavier and Germain Commarmond).
The football League professional is in partnership with the Barclays Bank to promote local football in Mauritius like the Barclays Premier League of British championship, as indicated the Le Matinal newspaper.
* One euro roughly equivalent to 41 rupees
