Mauritius: The Mauritian diaspora seeks to serve tourism development of the island

The Tourist Office of Mauritius (Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority - MTPA) has partnered in late last week with the recent organisation "Nou diaspora" which wants to strengthen the cultural promotion of the destination with 500,000 people of the Mauritian diaspora spin around the planet.
The declared objective of the new platform "Nou Diaspora" is to gather the Mauritian diaspora and strengthen relationships between the Mauritian expatriates via the common core of the island culture.
Mauritian diaspora is thus invited to travel to the island to discover or rediscover their homeland with their relatives and friends from outside and will receive promotional offers on certain benefits.
"This is a generous project, ambitious and deep that addresses the theme of the return home. Indeed, this platform will enable Mauritians to reconnect with the heritage and in turn be ambassadors of Mauritius worldwide "highlighted Mootoosamy Karl, director of the MTPA.
