Mauritius: The Mauritian artists present for the first time at the prestigious International Art Biennale of Venice

Mauritius will be present for the first time at the prestigious Venice International Biennale of Art which opens its doors on May 9 in the wake of the 56th. Seven local artists * will thus have to wear the Mauritian quadricolore of the island flag.
The Venice Art Biennale thus has the potential to position Mauritius on the map of the visual arts of the world culture. The Art Biennale of Venice will also provide better visibility to the destination in the arts.
As a reminder, the 56th Venice Biennale of Art will take place from May 9 to 22 November 2015 and will welcome more than 130 international artists from 90 countries.
