Mauritius: The Jeetoo hospital of Port-Louis will have a hydropool with salted water

The Jeetoo hospital of Port-Louis will have in late 2014 a hydropool of six meters long by three meters wide and capable of treating muscular problems of patients during balneotherapy sessions.
The call for offer aimed at the acquisition of this hydropool of salted water implanted on the basement of the establishment has been launched a few days ago for a global budget amounted to 4 million rupees.*
“Salted water has been chosen since it allows patients to float and makes the exercises become less constraining. This type of pool will be equipped of a machine that produce waves and which will allow patients to perform the same exercises that they would carry out at sea”, puts forward the officials of the Jeetoo hospital of Port-Louis, as indicates in the L’Express newspaper of Mauritius.
*One euro roughly equivalent to 41 rupees
