Mauritius: The Economic Forum of the islands of the Indian Ocean holds next week in the North of the island
Mauritius welcomes from 21 to 23 October the 9th Economic Forum of the islands of Indian Ocean (FEIOI), with a range of themes which will be to the study of the various delegations at the Meridien hotel of Pointe - aux-Piments.

Transport, Technologies of Information and Communication (ICT), Ocean industries, arbitration, renewable energy and tourism will be at the heart of the work under the auspices of the Chamber of commerce and industry of Mauritius (MCCI) and in partnership with the Commission of the Indian Ocean (COI).

Between 250 and 300 participants from the public and private sectors from all the islands of the Indian Ocean will be present for the regional economic forum, as indicated by the newspaper Le Défi Quotidien.

"The FEIOI wants to be a platform for reflection and dialogue to facilitate discussions between development actors, to facilitate trade and promote investment in the region," said Ganesh Ramalingum, President of the MCCI.
