Mauritius: Tempers flare on the eve of the anticipated legislative elections in the island

While the general election is held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in Mauritius tempers flare between the two parties warm up on the eve of the anticipated legislative elections on the island.
Several incidents have been reported on Monday, including at Quatre-Bornes with fights between opponents and on the side of Plaine Magnien, in the South of the island where several vehicles have been damaged.
The general election should decide tomorrow at the polls the two main political blocs * of Mauritius, the alliance of l’Unité et de la Modernité (PTr-MMM) and the Le Peuple (MSM-PMSD-ML) alliance.
