Mauritius: Tax revenues around 37 billion rupees from January to June

The Mauritian government should collect from January to June tax revenues amounted to 36.7 billion rupees *, including 13.4 billion rupees of VAT.
Last year, tax revenues was amounted to 71.9 billion rupees against 75.6 billion rupees cleared in 2013.
For the fiscal year of the period 2015-16, the Mauritian government revenues should be close to 90.8 billion rupees, with tax revenues of up to 77.8 billion rupees. The budget deficit for 2015-16 should reach 3.5% of GDP.
