Mauritius: Suspected Death of an anesthetist doctor on the beach of Flic-en-Flac
A 73 years old anesthetist doctor living in Curepipe was found dead on Sunday in mid-morning, next to his car on the beach of Flic-en-Flac, in the West of Mauritius.

The victim was infused in the left arm, with a bottle attached to his car.

Although a handwritten note inside the vehicle, might suggest a suicide the police explore all tracks, not understanding why a sick man on a drip would have gone to the beach.

In addition, according to preliminary investigation, the man was seen by witnesses on Saturday in the afternoon, along with several individuals, eating and drinking at a party improvised on the waterfront

An autopsy on the body of the septuagenarian revealed that the anesthetist doctor, suffering from throat cancer, died from pulmonary edema.

Investigators therefore want to shed light on the origin of abnormal fluid in the lungs of the doctor which caused his death, as indicated by the newspaper Lexpress of Mauritius.
