Mauritius Stock Exchange: New records for the indices SEMDEX and SEMTRI at the closure of the official market

The exchange activities in Mauritius continues its rising trend with its two main market indices, SEMDEX(1) and SEMTRI(2) which have reached new records on the official market.
At the closure Friday October 3 2014, the index SEMDEX indicated 2156,87 points.
On its side, the SEMTRI index has jumped to 6999,01 points and registers its highest stock exchange record.
Thus, since the beginning of the year 2014m the SEMDEX has increased of 2,92% while at the same time SEMTRI rose on its part of 4,87% as reported by the Le Matinal newspaper.
As a reminder, SEMDEX Stock Exchange index of Mauritius has jumped by 21% in 2013.

(2) Index SEMTRI (Stock Exchange of Mauritius Total Return Index), created in October 2002 incorporates the performance of the overall market with dividends and capital gains
