Mauritius: Sir Jugnauth demands the resignation of Ramgoolam and the organization of new elections

While the Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam had last week invited the opposition to "do not do politics on the corpses" , the leader of the MSM (Mauritian Socialist Movement), Sir Jugnauth, has launched new scathing criticism against the ruling regime in the wake of the deadly floods that killed 11 in Port Louis on Saturday, March 30, 2013.

Sir Jugnauth roundly on the government, as related, explaining "that the events of last Saturday are an example of the inability of Navin Ramgoolam to lead this country as it should be".

The leader of the MSM therefore requires the resignation of those responsible for this tragedy, namely to Anil Bachoo, Minister of Public Infrastructure and Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, "so that we can organize the general elections".

According to Sir Jugnauth, "weather forecast has mislead people with false expectations and the police responded quickly to help people in distress".
