Mauritius: Sharp increase in cruise passengers with more than 10,900 travelers registered in the first quarter 2015

While the American authorities want to construct a marine terminal in the coming years to accommodate cruise ships with the prospect of achieving around 100,000 cruise passengers in 2025, 10,905 cruise passengers have disembarked in Mauritius in the first quarter 2015, against 2100 registered on the same calendar period in 2014.
In 2015, some twenty cruise ships must anchor in the Mauritian capital.
As a reminder, 18 cruise ships docked last year in Mauritius towards Port Louis. 24,105 tourists and tour passengers were on board.
