Mauritius: Reservoirs filled after the passage of strong tropical storm Edilson

The heavy rains associated with the strong tropical storm, Edilson, which went close to the southeast coast of the island, last Thursday, 70 kilometers off the coast of Blue Bay were beneficial to hillside reservoirs on the island.
The largest reservoir of the country, Mare - aux-Vacoas, reached 72.7% filling ratio, La Nicolière 96.4%, 88%, Mare-Longue 92.4% La Ferme and Midlands Dam 70.1%, as indicated in the Le Défi Quotidien newspaper.
