The officials in charge of hosting VIP visitors from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport of Plaisance are busy in preparations for the logistics to receive their distinguished guests who will land in private jets in Mauritius from December to January.

The sector is booming. In December 2012, about 30 privately owned aircraft had landed on the tarmac of the airport.

This year for January only, 40 private jets are already planned to align runway overrun and total on two months one hundred devices land during the end of year holiday season.
