About 5,000 liters of heavy oil spilled at sea following the break yesterday morning from a pipeline owned by the company Vivo Energy Limited, in the harbor of Port-Louis, during an unloading operation with tanker off.

Firemen of the port are busy this morning in pumping operations.

"All operations were suspended when the leak was discovered. Pipeline acheminait the petroleum product to our premises. The situation is under control. Pumping operation began this morning", said the head of the Communication vivo Energy Limited to L’express.mu.
