Returned to Mauritius, since late April, and leave from his parliamentary duties, after being treated for throat cancer in a hospital in Paris, Paul Berenger expressed this Saturday before the committee central MMM (Mauritian Milliant Movement) of the three options available to him in September, when he is in possession of the final results on the evolution of his illness.

Paul Berenger might as well leave the benches of the National Assembly, by resigning his seat of deputy of Stanley Rose Hill, while keeping the reins of his party, with the line of sight, the general elections scheduled in 2015.

Different sources relayed by the lexpress.mu website also announced the entry into politics of his son, Emmanuel Berenger, to try to recover his seat in a by-election of the purple stronghold to be held in stride.

Second alternative to the charismatic leader of the MMM, head back to the National Assembly to be again the leader of the opposition in the Parliament of Mauritius, taking the post left to Alan Ganoo who replaced him during his forced parliamentarian leave.

Third and last possibilities mentioned by Paul Berenger to his supporters, seats in the National Assembly and leave the position of opposition leader to Alan Ganoo.
