Mauritius: Paul Bérenger in possible remission of his cancer of the throat after his chemotherapy in Paris

Paul Bérenger, the leader of the MMM (Mauritian Militant Movement) who had announced publicly in late January a throat diagnosed at the early stage, cancer is remission according to past practice last Thursday medical tests, as indicated in the newspaper Le Dimanche L'Hebdo.

The historic leader of the MMM, which was set back from the Mauritian politics to be treated in a Paris hospital for chemotherapy, said to be "happy" by the news and also said that "a first observation confirms the disappearance of the beginning of cancer ".
Paul Berenger Member of Parliament for Stanley Rose Hill is still awaiting a second medical confirmation of the Gustave Roussy Institute in Paris for a final decision on his political future and perhaps eventually after consultation with his comrades in the MMM, resume his position as leader of the opposition which he had left temporarily to Alan Ganoo.
