Mauritius: Over 918,000 tourists on the island since the beginning of 2014

Mauritius hosted, according to the latest official figures of the organism Mauritius Statistics, 918,184 tourists since the beginning of 2014, against 876,020 travellers counted for the same calendar period in 2013, an increase of 4.8% between January and November 2014.
For its part, the French market fell, with 213,550 tourists listed from the Hexagon against 215,642 French visitors registered on the island during the first eleven months of last year.
British tourists are in turn more and more to travel to Mauritius with 104,727 tourists recorded against 89,896 British travellers over the same period (+ 16.5%).
From late January to November 2014, 144,545 Asian visitors also visited Mauritius against 120,454 at the same period in 2013 (+ 20%).
