Mauritius: One of the founding fathers of the Internet on the island for a conference of international expert engineering
One of the founding fathers of the Internet, Vinton Cerf, has participated since Monday at a conference of engineering at Pointe - aux-Piments, in the North of Mauritius, on Information technologies and Communication 270 international experts who are working until Thursday on the theme of "engineering for a better future".

As a reminder, Vinton attended in 1976 with U.S. Army bases of development of the TCP/IP Protocol, before launching in 1982 the first commercial e-mail service.

In 2005, Vinton Cerf was even employed in Google to be the ambassador to the Internet around the world.

Vinton Cerf has also collaborated with NASA on the project of "Internet stars" to put in place a communication protocol generation between space stations, satellites and other devices operating in space, as relates the newspaper Le Défi Quotidien.
