Mauritius: No cases of dengue fever listed for 72 hours




The Minister of health, Lormus Bundhoo, announced yesterday that from Friday, April 4 to Monday, April 7, 2014, no cases of dengue fever has been registered by the health authorities on 537 samples analyzed.
 
Thus, since a dozen days, 53 hectares of uncultivated land were treated primarily in the area of Triolet, in the North of Mauritius from which originates the vast majority of the listed cases and 40 tons of waste have been collected, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
 
As a reminder, since mid-March 2014, 44 confirmed cases of dengue were counted on the 3.867 sampling analysis conducted by the laboratory of Victoria Hospital of Candos.
