Mauritius: New direct flights between China and Mauritius as from February 5

A direct flight connecting China to the airport of Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam of Plaisance will be launched on February 5, 2015, "for better connection between the two destinations," according to Air Mauritius.
The flight will be carried from the town of Chengdu to land at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport in Plaisance. A total of four direct flights between China (Chengdu, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai) and Mauritius will thus be available for travellers within a month.
14,913 Chinese tourists walked the Mauritian soil against 20 885 in 2012 and 15,133 passengers in 2011, according to figures from the Statistics Office of Mauritius.
