Mauritius: Navin Ramgoolam promised the construction of a geriatric hospital for the next parliamentary term

During a congress of elderly people organised in the framework of the electoral campaign at the conference center Swami Vivekananda of Pailles, the Mauritian Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam has recently announced that PTr-MMM alliance * intends to build in the next parliamentary term three hospitals in Mauritius dedicated to children, women and the elderly people.
Navin Ramgoolam has also put forward that the elderly people will benefit from an increase in their retirement pension compared to recent years.
"If this country has made so much progress, it is thanks to you. You are the symbol of sacrifice and perseverance and have managed to keep the cultural and traditional values. It is people like you who have brought the country on their shoulders. Hence the importance of respect for the elderly people, "said Navin Ramgoolam.
