Mauritius: Nandanee Soornack, the very close friend of Navin Ramgoolam, subject to an international arrest warrant

The very close friend of former Prime Minister, Labour activist, Nandanee Soornack still probably in Italy and who had left the country hastily 11 December 2014 in the wake of the proclamation of the last elections in Mauritius, is targeted since the beginning of the week by an international arrest warrant, as reported by the Mauritian newspaper L'Express.
The police want the special agent of the Labour Party (PTr) to return back in order to interrogate her on several sensitive cases, namely the case of Roches Noires, the 220 million rupees * discovered in the vaults of Navin Ramgoolam February 6 during a search operation and possible commissions which she could have benefited.
The Mauritian investigators also want to strongly determine the version of the former saleswoman of cauliflower and coriander at Carreau-Laliane on the alleged money laundering.
The intimate friend of Navin Ramgoolam had precipitately left the Mauritian soil on the evening of the proclamation of the results of the last general election, with approximately 800 million rupees in his luggage, as the police suspect of the crime squad (CCID).
For her part, Nandanee Soornack, through her legal representative on the island, has lately expressed the desire of wanting to soon return to Mauritius and make herself available to the Mauritian justice in order to meet to these accusations she considers false.
