Mauritius: More than 108,000 Christmas toys blocked in customs

While Father Christmas was particularly generous this year for good children, the customs authorities have still blocked 108,034 toys in Mauritius considered as dangerous to their users and do not conform to the strict regulations on the island.
These are the vast majority of dart guns, plastic ball guns that were prevented from being sold on the Mauritian market and go to find their place under the Christmas tree.
Violator importers incur a penalty of three years in prison and a fine of 100,000 rupees. *
