Mauritius: Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority targets an actively growing English market

According to the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), the year 2014 will be marked by an upsurge of about 12% of arrivals of British travelers who landed in Mauritius.
 Already, an increase of 13.5% was noted from January to September 2014 compared to the same calendar period of 2013.
Karl Mootoosamy, the Director of the MTPA, thus accounts to bet on the themes of golf, marriage and sports activities to attract more European tourists to visit the island, as indicated the Le Mauricien newspaper.
