Mauritius: Mauritian users attempt to access paedophile sites
Last September, 24.133 Mauritian users tried to access blacklisted to paedophile sites.
In the month of August 2013, this figure was 20.400.
Mauritian users bypass protection protocols installed in upstream by connecting to international servers that allow them to modify their IP every hour to consult freely with pornographic content.
Computer filters of the authorities put in place by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) and local access against this kind of navigation providers manage nevertheless to block a small amount of traffic.

1.038 IP addresses of Mauritian users trying to connect to paedophile sites were blocked in September.
And 1.438 users in Mauritius were also denied access to URLs leading to links listing content paedophile on the canvas over the same period, as shown in the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
