Mauritius: Mauritian peppers actively growing are being exported to Britain, France and Reunion

Mauritius has exported approximately 7.6 million rupees of peppers between January and September 2014, and the sector is growing rapidly for export. One type of chili which thus breaks in mass in Britain with 6.7 million rupees * of peppers, mostly dried ones, and sent to the country of its majesty.
Mauritian frozen peppers also leave to the Reunionese market with 1.664 kilos shipped to the sister island and metropolitan France with around 3,748 pounds.
As a reminder in 2013, Mauritius has been exporting only 1.4 million rupees of peppers on foreign markets.
* One euro roughly equivalent to 38 rupees
