Mauritius: Malaysian Prime Minister cancels his trip for the celebration of the 46th anniversary of independence

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has cancelled his displacement on the island in celebration of the 46th anniversary of the independence of Mauritius owing to the disappearance, on Friday night, of Boeing 777 of the Malaysia Airlines which carried out the connection between Kuala Lumpur and Beijing, carrying 239 passengers.

A decision confirmed officially yesterday Sunday by the office of the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navin Ramgoolam.

However, Najib Tun Razak will be replaced by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dato Sri Mustapa Mohammed, this Wednesday, March 12, at the official celebration being held at the stadium Anjalay in the North of the island, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
